Certificate ownership
The certification management function within the LMS has been enhanced to support the concept of certification ownership. This feature performs a similar function to that provided by content ownership, allowing global administers to control who can see and manage specific certifications.
Only certificate administrators with owner permissions for a certification can now edit the certification.
Global adiminstrators can now limit the certifications visible to a certification administrator to be only those over which the certification administrator has owner permissions.
This feature is important in situations where different parts of an organisation have differing certification requirements, with separate certification administrators, or where certifications are specific to catalogue items that reveal the identities of third-parties, and hence some certifications must be hidden from certain certification administrators.
