Update to thumbnail picker
The default thumbnails in the administration portal have been updated to match those used in the web based learner portal. These updated images will now be used by default across the administration portal, web based learner portal, and mobile apps, for new content items added to the system. Please note that in some cases the old images may be cached by your web browser, and you may need to clear you cache to see the updated default thumbnails. Old content items that use the default thumbnails have been updated to use the new style thumbnail (which were already substituted automatically in the web based learner portal) in the administration portal.
In addition, the set of sample thumbnails available within the system have been updated to match the required 3:2 aspect ratio. Where we had previously recommended against using the samples provided due to image skewing in the web based learner portal, this new sample set can now be used without image skewing.
Various bug fixes have also been applied to the thumbnail picker, and thumbnails added after this release should in most cases now appear in search results within the picker. This is based on the file name of the uploaded thumbnails.
Update to category picker
We've updated the format of the category picker to make this easier to use, more consistent with other pickers, and to resolve an existing issue where categories could be mistyped in the category box, resulting in multiple categories being created in error.
