Comments

An enhanced commenting system has been introduced with today's release. Any targeted user can add comments and participate in discussions centred around content published from the Agylia catalogue. For example, learners can engage in conversation, ask or respond to questions, leave feedback and so on. Comment areas are available on the landing pages of courses, files and curricula.

While the ability to add comments to content item landing pages has been supported for some while, several new features have been introduced with the enhanced system:

• Users can now flag posts they deem to be inappropriate.
• Admins can view flagged posts within a new Comments area within the Agylia administration portal. From here, they can delete the flagged comment, or clear the flag if they wish the comment to remain visible.
• Users can subscribe to topics of discussion. When a user adds a comment to a particular discussion area, they are automatically subscribed to the topic of discussion, but they can unsubscribe at any point in the future. They can also choose to subscribe to a conversation they have not previously participated in. While subscribed, notifications will appear within a new Comments area within the Agylia Web learner portal, whenever someone posts additional comments.
• The new Comments area within the Web learner portal, with associated header bar menu, provides a consolidated view of any topics to which the learner is subscribed. Learners can view topics of conversation to which they are subscribed and for convenience, can continue the conversation from directly within the Comments page. 

NOTE: Automated email and push notifications are coming soon. These will alert users whenever a new comment is added to a topic to which they are subscribed. The learner portal Comments menu will also continue to highlight new comments.

CSV Completion History Exports

Additional metadata is now included in the automatically generated CSV completion history export files. Specifically: 

• For sessions, the session external reference and session location is now included as two additional columns in CSV history export files.
• Learner's independent learning activity (ILA) records are now included in CSV history export files.

Bug fixes

A number of other bug fixes has been included in this release.
