Email notifications

The existing notifications section has been enhanced to allow administrators to send emails to one or more users or groups of users. This is in addition to the existing functionality where administrators can send push notifications to users of Agylia mobile apps.

Administrators specify the users and groups an email will be sent to and the subject for the email. They can then edit the body of the email, including the existing administrator defined signature. Placeholders are available, such as First name, Username, etc. which can be inserted in the email body, and will then be substituted with appropriate values in the resulting email(s), based on who the email is sent to. All sent emails appear in the email log on the Notifications page.

Comments

Users of our new Learner Portal are now able to add comments to items. Comments are visible to all users targeted with a content item, and allow users to share information and best practices relating to the item. Users can easily see which items have comments associated with them, and how many comments have been added. Administrators are able to see comments associated with items in the Administration Portal. While it is not possible in this first release of this feature, a planned future update will add the facility for administrators to delete comments.

Learner Portal audio support

Users of our new Learner Portal are now able to add MP3 audio files to the system by using the Administration Portal and to play the audio files in the Learner Portal.
