Team Leader enrolment
A new feature has been added to the Team Leader dashboard to enable a Team Leader to enrol a member of their team on to an item of content (e.g. a course, or an event session). They're also able to unenrol team members from an event session.
This feature adds a new Enrolments tab to the Team member details page, accessed by viewing the details of a team member from the Team Leader dashboard:
The new Enrolments tab displays all of the content items targeted to the selected user where enrolment is enabled. The Team Leader is able to enrol the user on any item where the user would themselves be able to enrol. Any approval workflows associated with the enrolment will still apply, and a Team Leader cannot enrol a team member onto an item configured to require enrolment with no self enrolment.
In addition to enrolling a user, a Team Leader can also unenrol a user from an event session where applicable. A Team Leader unenrolling a user is required to provide a cancellation reason, in the same way as a user would be if they were to perform the unenrolment, and the same enrolment/unenrolment deadlines apply to both the learner and Team Leader.
The Team leader can filter the displayed information by type and enrolment status, and can search using the training item's name (title). In addition, for event sessions, the Team Leader can search based on the location of the session.
Please note that where the Team Leader is required to approve an enrolment request, they are still required to separately approve the request, as if the learner had performed the enrolment request themselves. This ensures that the approval remains a distinct action, and avoids a Team Leader implicitly approving an enrolment without realising that this will be the case.
