Depending on your content settings, users can enrol onto content items (with or without an approval process), they can be enrolled by a Global administrator or Content administrator onto an item, or they can be batch enrolled onto an item. This article explains how to manually manage the enrolment options for one or more users, onto a content item that has been configured to require enrolment.
To manage the enrolment of users on a content item
- Log in to your Civica Learning Administration portal, Global administrator or Content administrator.
- On the NAVIGATION pane, click Catalogue.
- On the Results page, click the content item for which you want to enrol users.
INFO: To find content items, use the SEARCH section.
- On the content item page, in the SECTIONS section, click Users.
- Select the user(s) that you wish to manage.
INFO: To find the user(s) that you require, in the SEARCH box, type the name of the user, and then press Enter, or filter the list of users by Group or Organisational Unit.
- In the ACTIONS section, click the required function. Available options are:
- Reset current launches. Sets the number of times the selected user(s) has launched the content item to be 0.
- Set maximum launches. Specify the maximum number of times the selected user(s) can launch the content item.
- Set complete by. Set the date by which the selected user(s) must complete the content item.
- Accept request. Confirm approval where the selected user(s) have requested to enrol on a content item. The learner will receive the standard enrolment confirmation notification.
- Reject request. Reject approval where the selected user(s) have requested to enrol on a content item. The learner will receive the standard enrolment rejected notification.
- Enrol (Pending approval). Set the selected user(s) to the Pending approval state. The approver configured for the item / user will then be requested to approve the enrolment request, and the learner will received the standard enrolment pending approval notification.
- Enrol. Directly enrol the selected user(s) onto the content item. All approval workflows are over-ridden. The learner will receive the standard enrolment notification.
- Unenrol. Directly unenrol the selected user(s) from the content item. All approval workflows are over-ridden. The learner will receive the standard un-enrolment notification.
