Administrators can add attachments to a the following content items:
- Courses and files
- Web links
- Events
- Tasks
- Curricula
To add attachment(s)
- Log in to your Administration portal, as either a Global administrator or Content administrator.
- On the NAVIGATION pane, click Catalogue.
- On the Results page, click the content item to which you want to add an attachment.
- On the Content page, in the SECTIONS section, click Attachments.
- On the Attachments page, in the ACTIONS section, click Upload attachments.
- In the Upload attachments dialog box, either drag-and-drop your file(s) from your file manager to the Drag and drop files here box, or click Browse to navigate to and select the file(s) to be uploaded.
INFO: Currently supported file types are .xls .xlsx .pdf .pps .ppt .pptx .ppsx .png .mp4 .flv .f4v .m4v .doc .docx and .zip.
To remove attachment(s)
- Log in to your Administration portal, as either a Global administrator or Content administrator.
- On the NAVIGATION pane, click Catalogue.
- On the Results page, click the content item to which you want to add an attachment.
- On the Content page, in the SECTIONS section, click Attachments.
- On the Results page, next to the item you wish to delete, click the Trash icon:
- In the Delete attachment dialog box, click Delete.
To view or download (or view) an attachment
- Log in to your Administration portal, as either a Global administrator or Content administrator.
- On the NAVIGATION pane, click Catalogue.
- On the Results page, click the content item to which you want to download (or view) an attachment.
- On the Content page, in the SECTIONS section, click Attachments.
- On the Attachments page, next to the item you wish to download (or view), click the Download icon:

INFO: Civica Learning does not track learners access to attachments, for example, the lms reports will not show whether a learner has or has not accessed an attachment.
INFO: If items are locked in an curriculum, learners will not be able to access any attachments on the locked items until the item is unlocked.
