You can manage delegation of approvals for Approvers in the administration portal. If an Approver has gone on holiday without adding or removing a delegate from their approvals, as an administrator you can manage this for them.
To add a delegated approver
1. Log into your Administration portal as User or Global administrator.
2. On the NAVIGATION pane, click Users.
3. On the Results page, click the user whose approval delegation you wish to manage.
4. In the ACTIONS section, click Delegate approvals.
5. In the Delegate approvals dialog, click the + button.
6. In the DELEGATEE dialog box, select the user you wish to add as a delegate for approval requests received by the original approver.
INFO: The original approver will still receive approval requests as well the delegated approver. Both the original approver and the delegated approver can action the approval requests.
7. In the FROM and TO dialog box, select between which dates you wish the delegate to receive the approval requests. You may leave these dialogs blank, however this will mean the delegate will receive approval requests for the approver indefinitely.
8. Click Save.
To remove a delegated approver
1. Follow the same steps in the To add a delegated approver up to step 4.
2. Click the trash icon beneath the + button to remove any delegates that are no longer required.
3. Then click Save.
